Manifesto
This is the manifesto Kamal stood on in the October 2026 election.
As President of Men’s Rugby, I’ve seen how challenging it is to run a sports society, from solving our issues, organising events and encouraging participation.
I’m running for Part-Time Sports Officer because I want to make sports at SOAS more accessible, inclusive and enjoyable for everyone.
My priorities are simple:
- Better Support: Advocate for fair funding and clearer communication to resolve our issues.
- More Opportunities: Encourage beginners to get involved and make sports more accessible for everyone.
- Stronger Community: organise more inter-society events, tournaments and socials.
- Your Voice: ensure every sports society is heard and represented within the Students’ Union.
I want to build a community where every club feels supported and every student feels welcome.
