Sabbatical Officers

Sabbatical Officers and NUS Delegates for 2025/26

During sabbatical officer elections students will be electing the four Co-President roles. These roles are full-time paid positions. The students elected to these roles will be responsible for representing and campaigning on behalf of SOAS students.

The roles available are:

Co-President Democracy & Education
Co-President Activities & Events
Co-President Welfare & Campaigns
Co-President Equality & Liberation

Additional information regarding the salary, term dates, work hours, and responsibilities for these positions will be shared during the Sabbatical Officer Elections in 2025.

Tell Me About It
Your OfficersSOAS SU is led by it's democratically elected Officer Team. The Officers are made up of the Co-Presidents, Preferenda Portfolio Officers, Liberation Caucus Delegates and a Delegate from the Research Students Association. All Officers have to be current students but there are different means for elected the different Officers. The Co-Presidents lead the Officer Team and are elected annually.
