Myanmar Society Film Screening
Andrei Lejonvarn
We held a successful in-person film screening event at SOAS on February 8th 2022. There were two documentaries screened: This Land Is Our Land and Shifting Sands. A Q&A followed and it was great to see so many people engaging. We hope to organise another film screening event soon!

Our first online lecture series was a huge success with participation from Europe, North America and Australia! Spanning two evenings (14th and 15th December 2021), we had several presentations and Q&A sessions. Topics included: cartography, Burmese mythology, feminist activism, workers' rights, humanitarian aid, and the culture of protest.
