Tell Me About It

The tell me about it initiative is created so that if you, as students, have any feedback about your course, then you can talk to the student representatives of your course. Your programme and department reps are students, elected by you, who will be volunteering their time to listen to your feedback and tell the university what needs changing.

Enough Is Enough Workshops

Enough is Enough is the SU's project which aims to eliminate sexual violence and gender based violence on campus.

These workshops are designed to look at consent through an intersectional and survivor lens. It will give you the knowledge to create a consent culture, the skills to challenge harmful behaviours and information about reporting and support options at SOAS. The workshops are mandatory for new students at freshers (including first years, masters, phd students)

The last chance to attend the workshop will be the 15th November in the BGLT. The times are: 1-3pm, 3-5pm, and 5-7pm.

Finally, remember that as a student you can register to vote at two addresses (although you can only vote once during General Elections).

This means that you'll be able to vote in local elections taking place next year and you'll be able to vote from your term time address if a General Election is called, and it's likely that one will take place during or before Autumn next year. You can register to vote at your term time address here.

Guidance about who can vote is available here:  https://commonslibrary.parliament.uk/research-briefings/cbp-8985/
