Fill out our survey to give us a better idea of how SOAS Galleries can be improved.
SOAS is extremely fortunate in having a large world-class exhibition space within London’s ‘Museum Mile’ and ‘Knowledge Quarter’ in close proximity to the British Museum, Wellcome Collection and British Library. With the exception of the Courtauld Institute, none of the other London university’s have a gallery space of equivalent size or standard. We are conducting a review of SOAS Galleries to assess whether – and how – the gallery spaces could be most effectively used to further SOAS’s mission.
SOAS’s main public-facing gallery space is the Brunei Gallery (comprising four separate gallery spaces, including the Foyle Gallery, which can be programmed jointly or separately), but the review seeks to develop an overarching strategy including other exhibition spaces such as the Wolfson Gallery in the Library and the exhibition area outside the Khalili Lecture Theatre.
