Disability History Month takes places between 16 November - 16 December. Join us as we present a dynamic list of resources and events for Disability History Month. 

 

Events
 

When Barbara Met Alan film screening 16 November at 6pm 

Hosted by SOAS Students Union Disabled Students Society, students are invited drop in to R201 for a screening of When Barbara Met Alan which will be followed by a discussion 

 

Disabled Students Society ‘Scary Hour’ 

20 November 12-2pm and 4 December 12-2pm

Students are invited to drop by to tackle their scary admin together. Both events are taking place in S113. Get in touch with the Disabled Students’ Society for more information.  

 

Banner Making 23 November at 2pm

Drop by the JCR to make the Disabled Students’ Society banner .

 

Podcasting Session 

27 November 2023 at 12-2pm and 7 December at 5-7pm

Disabled Students are invited to an open house in the Student Union’s podcasting space to put together a podcast about Disability History Month.  Contact JA90@soas.ac.uk for more information.
