Salary: Grade 7 - 0.6 FTE (equivalent to 3 days per week, hours flexible to be decided with candidate) :
£33,199 - £39,610 + £3,750 London Allowance (Pro-Rata - £22,169 – £26,016)
SOAS Students' Union is a lively, vibrant and active organisation, supporting the students of SOAS, University of London. We're looking for a part-time Finance and Office Manager to join the team and provide us with much needed operational and administrative support.
You would be joining a small team, working with the General Manager to ensure the effective running of the organisation’s office and finances. You would provide support for the day-to-day running of the Union’s financial, HR and office operations and enable us to ensure compliance with our responsibilities as a charity. We work with elected student officers and trustees and your support would enable them to work productively and make informed decisions about the organisation.
We’re looking for someone who wants to work in a democratic, member-led environment, with experience providing financial support to a charitable organisation. You need to have a commitment to transparent financial and HR practices, underpinning the confidence in the charitable organisation. Our ideal person will have the initiative and drive to support us in modernising our processes and improving our systems.
