Salary: Grade 5: (£22,107 - £25,483) + £3,500 London Allowance

SOAS Students' Union is looking for a lively and industrious member of staff to oversee the core Governance functions within the Union, and to help manage the Union's Communications with its students. There will be a lot of social media work, web work and opportunities to engage with over 200 student activities within SOAS Union to get the message out. The role also has a monitoring place for our environmental sustainability work and Green Impact submissions. 

The role would suit someone looking to develop a career in Students' Unions as it combines a number of key aspects at the heart of running a modern successful Students' Union. Getting the message out to students and making sure the union is governed properly are at the heart of all that we do, and we are looking for someone who is a good institutional fit with the organisation.

Student Staff Vacancies

Shop, Bar and Office Staff
We are now taking applications for work in the SOAS SU Bar and Shop for the year 2019/20. We will be looking for a number of staff of varying retail / bar or office experience (and some with no experience at all) to work for up to 20 hours in the SOAS SU retail outlets. You need to be trustworthy, smart, willing to be helpful and understand what makes SOAS tick, and you will need to be a continuing SOAS Student.
Interviews will take place in the week of September 9th, we will be getting back to people in the first week of September if we need you for an interview. These positions are very popular, we normally get over 200 applications so we are sorry if we cannot find a space for you.
