our graduation day isn’t over when the ceremony ends — it’s just getting started. The SU Bar will be open all day from 12:00pm, so you can pop in for a celebratory drink, or just soak up the atmosphere between events. From 7:00pm until late, we’re turning it up for the official Graduation Afterparty: your final chance to dance, laugh, and celebrate with your SOAS friends. Expect exclusive grad drink deals, great music, and a photobooth to capture those “one last time” moments. Whether you’re raising a glass with coursemates, meeting up with family, or saying goodbye to your favourite SU haunt, this is the perfect send-off.

During Graduation, the JCR will be your go-to social space on campus – perfect for catching up with friends, grabbing a drink, and snapping a few photos at our dedicated photo spot. We’ll be streaming the graduation ceremonies live all day, so if you couldn’t get tickets, you can still be part of the celebration. Conveniently located right next to our SU Shop, you’ll have easy access to refreshments to keep you going throughout the day.
