Running throughout your first month, Freshers’ is your introduction to the Students’ Union

from exciting events in our SOAS Bar and our vibrant societies to the Freshers’ Fair and plenty of opportunities to meet new friends.

SOAS Bar

Your campus local is right here – the SOAS Bar is the place to kick back, catch up, and make memories. Whether you’re into craft pints, cocktails, or just good vibes, we’ve got you covered all year round.

The fun? Oh, there’s plenty. Think legendary Beer Pong Tournaments, Saturday Night Lates to keep the weekend going, pop-up cinema nights, and our ever-popular pub quiz. Plus, we’ve got exclusive PGR and Masters events so postgrads can enjoy their own nights too.

We’re open Monday–Saturday from 4pm till late, and during Freshers Week you can expect special events every single night. Keep an eye out for SOAS Bar on your Freshers timetable – trust us, you won’t want to miss it.
