SOAS Kurdish Society invites you to our annual Newroz celebration! Join on us on the 16th of March for a spectacular night of celebration of the Kurdish new year and a symbol of Kurdish resistance. This year's Newroz is particularly important as our people have been devastated by the earthquakes in the middle east and we must use the spirit of Newroz to empower our people in the face of these tragedies. This year, all profits will be donated to the victims of the recent earthquakes.
The event will include Kurdish dancing (Govend/Halparka), Kurdish food, and live Kuridsh music from Koma Sersi.
