What does the recent succession of such cases reveal about the endemic and systemic nature of sexual harassment, and how a ‘conspiracy of silence’ co-opts its continued occurrence in wider society? Is it a microcosm for the issue of sexual harassment in society at large? How does the crisis of ‘extreme masculinity’ tie into the issue? What does the increase in these public cases mean, if anything, in terms of addressing the problem? We will raise and discuss these questions, along with any others you think are relevant to the topic.
