General meeting of the Fight Racism! Fight Imperialism! SOAS Society.
Everyone is welcome, as long as you want to get involved in our work.

In this meeting we welcome everyone, because we want to bring people together to build up an explicitly anti-racist, anti-imperialist movement at SOAS. We will be asking what skills you can offer to the movement, and what areas of work you would be interested in (social media, research, outreach, planning meetings and protests, building and maintaining links with other struggles and organisations, etc).

More we need to support struggles in countries oppressed by imperialism, while we must fight racism back in Britain. Last year it came to light that SOAS has a far-right lecturer who is now an MEP for the German AfD, while there is active collaboration with the British Ministry of Defence and the Home Office's immigration policy. At the same time, people around the world are fighting back against crisis-ridden and decaying imperialism. Equally, we don't just struggle against racism and imperialism, but against all forms of oppression and discrimination.
