Mature Students Social

Have you had a year - or several years - out of education? Looking to chat to someone in a similar position? Come along to our regular weekly socials (day/time varies, this week it's a Monday). Our Mature Students community is very diverse, with ages ranging from 20-something to 60-something, undergrads and postgrads, and a good variety of nationalities and academic disciplines represented every week.

The format is similar to speed-friending, but a bit more relaxed, and you can choose who you talk to. After introductions in the virtual 'Main Room', the host (Sara, Mature Students' Officer) opens some break-out rooms and you can choose which one you want to go hang out in. After 15-20 minutes chatting with 3-5 other students, there's a chance to rotate around.
