The SOAS Latin American Society is delighted to announce our second event of the Black Lives Matter: Latin America series — ‘Blackness and Race in Mexico: A Discussion.' The event will take place on the 19th January at 18:00 GMT, via Zoom. 

We will be hosting a University of Cambridge professor and a Wageningen University postdoctoral researcher to discuss structural, systemic and social racism in Mexico, and share their own experiences as black Latin Americans. Follow us on social media (@soaslatamsociety) as we share more about them and the event soon!
