Amanda Evans, Amasu is a senior yoga teacher and therapist. She has been teaching for 30 years. British Wheel of Yoga trained she began her career as professional dancer/ choreographer /teacher. Amasu was awarded awarded an International scholarship to study at Kripalu Yoga Centre in Massachusetts as she specialises in yoga for mental health. She is currently studying an MA in Traditions of Yoga and Meditation. Where she is also President of The Soas Yoga Society. Amanda is also, founder of The Yoga Club Brighton, a collective of yoga teachers, therapists, musicians and dancers. And was a core team member for the charity, Brighton Yoga Festival 2016 at The Dome and Corn Exchange.
She has taught, retreats and yoga teacher training all over the world. In 2018 she spent six months teaching in Cambodia and wrote a yoga teacher training manual of which a new edition is in the making whilst at SOAS.
Amanda is also a writer and storyteller she produced ‘Be In Joy’ a yoga nidra CD available on request.
