Korean Kayageum Society

Please click 'Add to Basket' to join the Society!

The Gayageum is known as the representative instrument in Korea, which traditionally has 12 strings. It is also one of the representative zithers of the East Asia including Chinese Zheng and Japanese Koto. The society has regular workshops once a week and you can learn diverse pieces of Korean folk music for a year. We hope to have a yearly performance in line with the other Korean music societies (Korean Drumming, Dance and Wind Instruments) at the end of the academic year.
