Salary: London Living Wage
Hours: 25 hours during terms 1 and 2, 10 hours during term 3 (Total 60 hours)
Reports to: Student Engagement Coordinator

Are you a passionate postgraduate researcher eager to make a meaningful impact at SOAS? We are seeking dedicated and dynamic individuals to join our team as College Representatives for our postgraduate research students. This is your chance to take a leadership role in shaping the student experience within your college and ensure that the voices of research students are heard and valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent and advocate for the views of postgraduate research students.
  • Facilitate communication between research students and supervisors.
  • Advocate for tailored resources, events, and support.
  • Support the election and engagement of Department and Programme Reps.
  • Liaise with the Research Students Association and other stakeholders.

Person Specification:

  • Current postgraduate research student at SOAS enrolled for the year 2024/25.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in a research role or representing postgraduate research students is desirable.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and team-working skills.
