SOAS Desi Society is a space to celebrate and explore the cultures of South Asia, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, the Maldives and beyond. We welcome everyone with an interest in the region, whether you have roots there or simply want to discover more.
Our events range from boat parties and late license socials to cultural nights, film screenings and balls. We aim to create a friendly community where people can connect, share traditions, and enjoy South Asian music, food, and conversation.
