About Us
The SOAS Research Society (RSA) is for all research students at SOAS (PhD, MPhil and MRes). The RSA is here to make the process of doing a research degree at SOAS more fun! We have termly parties and regular meetings not only to discuss issues that arise regarding research at SOAS, but also to set the RSA agenda to campaign for a better experience all round. The RSA President and Board are here to campaign on your behalf as well as help you have the best time at SOAS.
The RSA also publishes an annual academic Journal, which has its own board and budget, and which last year held its first conference. Elections to the Journal board are held at the start of the year along with RSA elections. This is a great way to meet people and to get involved in research life at SOAS, so why not join us in the RSA and run for election this year?
