Hello and welcome to the SOAS volleyball team!
We are finally able to play indoor volleyball again and we are recruiting new players!
About us
We are a mixed, fun, supportive group who loves to play volleyball!
SOAS volleyball team is a great way to meet people, socialise and play the exciting sport!
Team bonding is really important to us and we will be organising social events (team dinners, pub nights, game nights) every month. We’re super laid back, so are open to all suggestions you might have.
Practices
We will be holding taster sessions on the 27th and 30th of September!
As we have limited numbers, we are looking for people who will come to every practice and who are motivated to train hard to improve. The recruitment of new players will be decided by our new coach following the first few sessions.
After that we will train every Mondays and Thursdays from 7pm to 9pm at William Ellis School (NW5 1RN).

Competitions
We play in the London Universities Sports League (LUSL) against other mixed teams and if the sanitary situation allows us, we will also participate in a tournament in Paris called “Les Parisiennes” regrouping university teams from all over Europe!
Varsity is also a great opportunity to defend the SOAS colors and to be involved in the amazing atmosphere, socialising and cheering on other SOAS sports teams.
