We run weekly offline and online events for our members to interact with each other and have fun through all sorts of gaming.
Membership Requirements
- None (not even being interested in games!)
Our Mission:
To foster a safe space where all, interested in games or not, can meetup to relax and have fun on campus.
What We Do:
Weekly Meetups
Feel free to come along to a weekly board game meetup to make new friends! No experience for board games necessary, non-members also welcome! We have a large selection of games to choose from so there is something for everybody!
The format of the weekly meetups is up to the members to decide. That means that all games played are entirely up to the attendees of that particular session
Online Meetups
We also frequently run sessions for our members to play games together online. Previous game sessions have included games from Among Us to Genshin Impact to Lethal Company. There is truly a game for everyone!
Esports
See yourself as a competitve gamer? SOAS has multiple teams that compete across a variety of titles such as League of Legends, Overwatch, Valorant, Teamfight Tactics and CS:GO to name a few. We have teams for all skill levels, so feel free to join even if you don't think you can make the top cut!
Inter-Uni Collaborations
Occasionally, we also organise inter-uni collaboration events with our sister societies at other London Universities. This is a great opportunity for you to meet new people across London!
