SOAS Students’ Union and Student Advice & Wellbeing have put together an Exam Wellbeing Program to help support students wellbeing during the exam period.Â
Â
Exam Wellbeing Calendar:
There will be workshops, sessions and therapies of various kinds taking place over the next month. Please see the full calendar here.Â
For most of the workshops and sessions you can just turn up to on the day. However, for Shiatsu Massage and Head Massage therapies we request that you register in advance. You can find details of the slots here: http://soasunion.org/ents/event/509/and email ad69@soas.ac.uk to book one in! Please include in your email, your name, your ID number, your phone number, and which slot you would like to book (including date and time).Â
If you haven’t booked you can go to the room where the therapy is taking place and there will be sign up sheet on the door, where you can sign yourself up to an empty slot (if there are any!).
Â
Chill Out Room:
There will be a Chill Out Room throughout the exam period. This will be in the Russell Room (which is in on the lower ground floor of the Main Building, next to the canteen) from 6th May – 4th June. This is a quiet space, relaxation room, with hammocks and pillows, in which you can take a break, rest and chill out.
Â
Information and Advice:
We will have a stall every day outside RG01 in the main foyer of the main building (in the foyer on the way to the Library). The Stall will have information which you can come and browse any time, and will be staffed from 12-2pm everyday if you want to come by for advice or a chat :)
