About Us
We are a group of students at SOAS committed to the call for freedom, justice & equality for the Palestinian people. We actively campaign for Palestinian rights by answering the call for BDS and investigating how our own institution is violating Palestinian rights.
Our objectives as the SOAS Palestine Society centre political education to inform our BDS campaigning. As a student group, our activism for Palestinian rights is applied very closely, looking at how SOAS is complicit in supporting Israeli colonialism. We actively carry this out by building on our academic boycott & divestment campaigns on campus to ensure that our institution supports and protects Palestinian liberation. In addition to this, we celebrate the wonderful, rich and powerful Palestinian culture that emerges through resistance.
