All Undergraduate degree programmes begin on Monday 22 September 2014. You will be sent information around the end of August which will include a programme for the first week of term (Welcome Week), details of where you need to go and any times when you will need to attend in person.
Full details of procedures for enrolment and payment of tuition fees will be sent in the weeks before the start of term. This information will be sent to students holding unconditional, firmly accepted places in good time before the process commences. During the first week of term you will be required to attend in person to complete remaining enrolment formalities such as enrolling in person (compulsory for new students), ID checks and receiving your student ID/Library card. There will be various introductory talks, tours of the campus and local area and a fresher’s fair.
You can use your SOAS Student Card to get lots of dicounts in the local area, however some bigger chains will only give you discount if you buy an NUS Extra Card for £12. This also allows you to get a range of Exclusive and Online discounts such as on Spotify or Amazon.co.uk
