Hatha Yoga

Hatha (from Ha – sun, and Tha – moon) is an integral system aiming to create a balance between body, mind and vital energy. It combines postures (asana), control of the breath (pranayama), hand gestures (mudra) and energy locks (bandha).


Hatha Yoga develops flexibility, balance, strength and concentration. Its ultimate goal is to increase awareness and develop the full potential of human consciousness. All the physical forms of Yoga known today are derived from Hatha Yoga.


This class integrates slow flowing sequences and classic Yoga postures with great emphasis on the breath and the movement of the spine to develop internal balance and focus. 


All levels welcome.


Taught by Noemi.


Location: Room VG10, SOAS Vernon Square Campus.

Price: £5 drop in / £30 for 10-class pass.
