Yoga is meditation in action. Invigorating and fun, with attention to detail, this class is inspired by the teaching of B.K.S. Iyengar, who helped make yoga more accessible.
The sequences vary each week to explore different postures. We look in depth at the basic actions they require, and link some together with breath-led movement. This approach helps still the mind while building suppleness and strength. Some philosophy is also included in light-hearted language.
Location: Room VG10, SOAS Vernon Square Campus.
Price: £5 drop in / £30 for 10-class pass.
