A non-hierarchical collective for anyone self-identifying as both queer, trans*, intersex and Black/Person of Color.
We can use this network to hold space together, organise cute events and film screenings centring/by QTIBPOC, share knowledge about accessing specific services/resources, skill-share (learn from each other!).
We want a space that celebrates and centres Blackness.
We want a space that celebrates and centres Transness & Gender non-conformity.
We do not believe in the concept of safe spaces but strive towards a "safer" space.
Our politics stand with the most marginalised of us, including but not limited to:
those with no legal status, those in unstable accommodation, prisoners and detainees, workers in the sex industry, those who do not have access to hormones/surgeries they want and require, survivors of sexual and gendered violence, people living with HIV, carers, people with disabilities, those not accessing mental health support/services they want and require, people who have little/no support from their community or family.
We hold a rule of confidentiality and ask our members to keep other members’ identity and/or information about their sexuality and gender identity confidential and within the group (unless explicit consent given to do otherwise).
