Freshers Guide 2017

We are beavering away at our Freshers Programmer for Freshers Fortnight, so keep checking this page to see new events (and the fancy planner when we've designed it).

As long as checking this page and the Union Website you can keep an eye on our Twitter feed @soassu and join the dedicated SOAS Freshers 2017-18 Facebook Group here for up to date information. The list below will be constantly updated so keep checking back and if you have any questions please e-mail us on su@soas.ac.uk

A quick note on terminology, the School has Welcome Week (26 September - 2 October), but we have Freshers' Fortnight because we cannot fit everything into just one week. And we start a little earlier, because we know people will be turning up at the weekend to move in. Some of the rooms below - the JCR is the Junior Common Room in the Main SOAS Building, where most SU Parties take place.

There will be a community breakfast every morning of Welcome Week, and Find-a-Flatmate meetings too if you need people to live with. And we will have live music, every night in the JCR.

SUNDAY SEPTEMBER 24th

3pm: Move-In Pizza Picnic Party: Joseph Grimaldi Park, Pentonville Road.
