Norouz - Persian New Year Celebration

(1394) Student Norooz Party: There is going to be an (early) students Norouz celebration on the 7th March which has been jointly organized by the Iranian societies at Queen Mary, UCL, King's College London and Imperial College, which we will also be supporting in a lesser role.

It should be a nice inter-university celebration and as such, we encourage many of you to go and will able to offer subsidized tickets to SOAS students who want to attend, upto 20 in total, at half the price of the full dinner & after party ticket! So instead of £24 the first 20 tickets sold to SOAS students will be able to attend the dinner and after party for just £12! The rest of the ticket price will be covered by us for you!

How this will work is for the first 20 SOAS students who purchase their ticket online (see the link below) please use your SOAS email address and also email me beforehand to let me know that you want to purchase a ticket. I will then confirm with my counterpart from UCL what number you are and arrange for the Students' Union here to reimburse you £12 from the SOAS Iranian Society budget!

Please note however that you must be a current SOAS student and use your student email address to purchase a ticket for us to be able to reimburse you half the price of your full (dinner & after party) ticket!
