Nominations are open for Faculty Reps…

Find out more about the role, and how you can stand as a voice for students across your whole faculty. See the new Student Reps minisite. If you want to stand, get a nomination in by the 10th October.

Meantime, students should be electing their Student Rep for the department over the first 2-3 weeks of term. Look out in your core lecture for when there will be a vote. Ask your department, or lecturer. If you have any difficulty, ask the SU…

My main responsibility is toward the rep system. Student reps take up issues within their course or faculty. We (in the S.U.) provide training, and organise the network that links reps across the school. This provides important support, and fresh ideas. If you’re interested in being a Student Rep, or want to know more about it, just ask! I can be found in the SU offices, in Russell Sq but only for half of the week - I’m a part-timer.
