SOAS Radio is a Social Media Enterprise based at SOAS, University of London. Every year we recruit a host of talented, driven students from all departments and degree levels to work in different aspects of radio production, digital development, marketing, communications, events management, communication for international development and fundraising. The internship posts require a minimum commitment of 4 hours a week with flexible time schedules from September 2012 – July 2013.
SOAS Radio – Communication for Development Internships – New 2012
These internships are designed to work on a Radio Drama programme to address behavioural change towards HIV AIDS among sexual workers and the society at large in Ghana, based on participatory approaches to development. The internship involves training in the design and production of Radio Drama and Interactive Media, using traditional radio and SMS technology.
This is a new scheme in partnership with Theatre for a Change http://www.tfacafrica.com, and includes a one-month fieldwork (optional) in the summer of 2013 to Ghana.
